Election Repercussions

Two days after the US election North Korea (all of a sudden) decided it was time to come to the table and discuss their Nuclear program. This was after months and months of stalling.

Iran, EU Reach Tentative Nuclear Deal

TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran and the European Union's three big powers have reached a tentative deal that could see Tehran avert U.N. Security Council sanctions over its disputed nuclear program, Iranian and EU officials said on Sunday.

The agreement, hammered out during two days of talks in Paris ending late on Saturday, just awaits the go-ahead from Iran's clerical leadership, EU diplomatic sources told Reuters.

Under the deal Iran would freeze all nuclear fuel enrichment and reprocessing activities until it has reached a final agreement with the EU over a package of economic, technological and security incentives in return for abandoning potentially weapons-related nuclear activities, the diplomats said.

While no US representatives were involved directly in either negotiation...It's safe to say all parties felt the US presence...Incidentally, I trust neither on their word...But, repercussions of the election continue to occur...all in less than a week.
